Felicia is a native of Lincoln County, growing up in the Mulberry community off Gimlet Creek Road, moving later to the Howell community where she resided for over 25 years. Ms. Dickey finished out her life in the Park City area of Lincoln County, off McDougal Road. Felicia was the only daughter of the late Jewel Groce and Luther Raby McNatt.

Felicia worked for many years serving the Lincoln County School System. She worked at the old Lincoln School, as well as Highland Rim School, and lastly, South Lincoln School. Felicia found so much joy in all the children that she gave extra helpings and extra hugs to. Felicia spent her later years working at Lincoln Regional Hospital in the cafeteria, always hustling for everyone she knew. Her final job was as a caregiver. She took care of many people, their children, and everyone in between. Felicia worked up until this July, when she fell ill. She was an active member of the Northside Church of Christ in Fayetteville, where her only son is the preacher. Felicia spent most of her time helping and loving on others. She encompassed the whole love of Jesus. Felicia wanted all the children, women, men, old and young, to feel seen and loved and treasured. She made calls, mailed cards, and never missed a chance to “hug someone’s neck”! Felicia loved to journal, color, to support her grandchildren, her children, and was the one consistent in her family. Her unwavering love and kindness will be greatly missed.
