Gilbert Nelson Sullenger, age 81, of Elora, TN, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at his residence. He was born November 30, 1942, in Moore County, TN, son of the late Rufie Lee Sullenger and Mattie Lou Miles Sullenger. He was a former pastor of Community Christian Church and attended Bethlehem Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son: Keith Sullenger; brother: R. L. Sullenger, Jr.; and son-in-law: Roswell ‘Bill’ Nourse.

Mr. Sullenger is survived by his wife: Gail Sullenger; daughter: Traci Nourse; grandchildren: Alex (Jessica) Mann, Tyler (Ashley) Mann; and Meghan (Brett) Murr; great grandchildren: Clayton Mann, Brayden Mann, Everley Mann, Maisie Murr, and Cooper Murr; and brothers: Dean Sullenger and Tommy Sullenger.

Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. in Kelso Cemetery with Ricky Freeman and Alex Mann officiating and Gallant-Riverview Funeral Home in charge of services.
