John Charles Samuel Butterworth, age 58, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born August 18, 1965, in Biloxi, MS, son of the late Clarence Robert Butterworth and Nancy Ruth Smith Butterworth. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother: Richard Joseph Butterworth.

John is survived by his wife: Jeannie Butterworth; daughters: Shelbie Butterworth, Jennifer Pickle, and Rachel Butterworth; sons: Caleb Key, T.J. Key, and James Caro; grandchildren: Brylen, Rylee, Henlee, Blakelee, Harley, Makayla, Olivia, Lucy, Lilyth, Josie, and Emma; sister: Sue (Chucky) Kendzierski; brother: Robert Patrick Butterworth; good friend: Dan Erickson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the First Church Of The Nazarene in Fayetteville, TN, with Rev. Gerald Hice officiating and a meal to follow at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fayetteville First Church Of The Nazarene.
